The company CImaGeo was created to meet the demand for companies capable of processing seismic data in small volumes and low processing costs, which are not of great interest to larger companies that provide this type of service, especially in the case of onshore data.
We are located in Natal, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
We have Geophysicists and computer professionals with vast experience in onshore 2D and 3D seismic data processing. Data acquired from both explosive and vibrating sources, as well as with straight or winding lines. Our experience has emphasis in, but not limited to, the Brazilian basins of Acre, Solimões, Amazonas, Parnaíba, Potiguar, Recôncavo, São Francisco and Paraná. We also have experience in the sedimentary basins of the Republic of Sudan, Africa.
Apart from the geophysicists specialized in seismic data processing, the CImaGeo team also relies on Geophysicists with ample experience in acquisition supervision, extensive knowledge in Geophysicist training, problem solving and solutions for static correction, regional processing and interpretation, detailed data of almost all Brazilian sedimentary basins and diverse data of other countries in North and South America as well as in Africa.
Our staff is comprised of a Doctorate level Geophysicist with more than thirty years of experience in acquisition, acquisition and processing quality control, processing supervision and onshore/offshore 2D and 3D seismic data interpretation. We also have Master’s degree level Geophysicists with vast understanding of onshore seismic data processing and a Computer specialist, currently getting his Master’s in Geophysics.
We also count with several diverse consultants with ample theoretical and hands on experience with problems encountered with the propagation of waves, attenuation of noise and multiples and of special techniques of seismic data processing.
